Ballard is one of the anonymous plaintiffs in a lawsuit that argued that Medicaid should cover hormonal blockers for young people. These drugs are designed to delay puberty, and typically prescribed for teenagers who identify as transgender. Ballard has been taking the drugs for the past year. <br />

That video subsequently ended up online, and showed the unappetizing image of force-fed ducks. Whilst there, Canavan decided to take some of the anatine labor home with her. Hudson Valley was not amused, and neither was Jim Farrell, the Sullivan County DA. And now, after a two-year-delay, the charges have apparently come home to roost.<br />
